Kalahari

The last Friday of my spring break, we decided to take Logan to Kalahari.  This isn't something we normally would have planned on taking him to, but Todd's mom was going there for a conference for work for two days, and she had free passes!  She begged us to stay the night, but I didn't really want to deal with the hassle of staying in a hotel with Logan, who doesn't sleep well when we're not at home.  Plus we were both getting over colds, and I thought our own beds would be better.  We planned to stay only about two hours because we thought Logan would be tired by then.  Well, as it turns out, we had a LOT more fun than any of us planned on having, and by the end of the night we were wishing we had brought our stuff to stay overnight in the hotel!  We swam for about three hours (at which point we were more tired than Logan), then changed our clothes, had dinner with Todd's mom, and played in the game room for about an hour.  I am a waterpark lover - I even lifeguarded at The Beach in Cincinnati for three summers during college, so I knew I would have a blast!  Todd, who I thought would be miserable, is actually already planning a group trip with our friends next year!  Of course, his plan includes the guys golfing nearby while the girls take the kids to the waterpark!  I did mention that we need to go back when I'm not pregnant (and can ride the rides) and with a group of only adults.  There is plenty to do there even without kids, and I definitely think we will be frequenting it at least once a year from now on.  On to the pictures...

This was hands-down the BEST day we have had with Logan so far!  It was so rewarding to see him enjoying himself so much.  It makes me happy to know that I have been able to make him so happy!  I'm looking forward to many more days like this to come.
